Ladies Rogers Cup Victory

On Sunday 2nd September 2018 at Bath Golf Club our Ladies Section were victorious against Clevedon in the 2018 Rogers Cup Final. Nobody in the Saltford Team was given any shots in any of the matches, which made the game extremely exciting and ended in a 4/3 victory!
The 2018 team was Captained by Janice Dall and consisted of the following players: Amanda Mayne, Carys Parker, Kim Parker, Sharon Watts, Alison Kerr, Lesley Organ, June Boulton, Pauline Parnell, Chris Harris, Mary Dolman and Jeanette Cook.
Saltford Golf Club have entered a team into this Somerset County Singles Matchplay Tournament every year since its inception in 1924, and this is the first time Saltford Ladies have won since the year 2000.

Grace Emmerson in National Finals
Grace Emmerson, one of our 10 year old black tee juniors, played in the national finals of the American Golf Junior Championships at Gainsborough Golf Club in Lincolnshire during the summer holidays and came a very creditable 7th with a score of 56 round the 2167 yard, par 39 course.
